The Smidgets program is a success-based program designed to develop a player’s confidence and a life long love of the game of soccer. Players are placed on teams of six to play 3v3 games with no goalkeeper. Games are played on a mini field that is just the right size to be challenging but not daunting to small legs. Small team size means each player gets plenty of “ball touches”. This program is an introduction to soccer in a low-key, non-competitive environment using soccer related games and drills.
