In this age group we want to keep it fun with plenty of touches on the ball.  Players learn more advanced soccer skills and have plenty of opportunities to score.  This is the first year to play 8v8 on a regular field with a goalkeeper. The U12 program has two practices each week.  The coach determines the practice nights. The U12 teams will be scheduled to play other NASA teams at both parks and possibly teams from other participating clubs in the area. All players should wear shin guards, bring water and a size 4 soccer ball to all practices and games.

Uniform: All players must purchase a new Adidas uniform kit for fall 08 (kit cost is $45.00 and contains two game jerseys, one pair game shorts, one pair socks, backsack and one NASA practice t-shirt. This cost is separate from the program cost and should be paid for online during the registration process). Parents must provide a size 4 soccer ball and shin guards. Players may wear tennis shoes,  “turfs” or molded cleats.
