NASA's girls teams wrapped up their National League season at the Disney Showcase over the New Year's holiday.  We had four teams participating in this prestigious league (the highest level of play in US Youth Soccer) that took place over two events: Final Four Showcase and Disney Showcase.  Our 12 Elite II, 13 Elite II, 14 Elite, and 15 Elite all competed and played well.  We learned many things in the competition and developed players to continue to strive and play at the highest levels.  Congratulations to all the players and coaches for reaching this lofty goal.  We are proud of you and wish you continued success.

The G17 Select, coached by Robbie Galvin, won the CESA Fall Classic on September 18th.  The team prevailed in PK's after 11 shooters.  Congratulations girls.  We are proud of you!

NASA is excited to have all four eligible girls teams competing in the USYSA National League.  We are the only club to have a team in each age group that plays in the National League.  Our G'15 Elite, G'14 Elite, G'13 Elite II, and G'12 Elite II will all play for a chance to attend the National Championship next summer.  The league is the highest level of soccer available to girls teams and only accepts sixteen teams per age group from across the country.  We are very proud of our teams that have gained acceptance into this prestigious league and wish them the very best of luck in their R3PL East, SPL, and National League seasons.

NASA girls academy have a Q & A with the G12 Elite II team as they prepare for a run at the National Championship next week in Phoenix, AZ.

Congratulations to both NASA U9 Arsenal and NASA U9 Liverpool on their Friendship Cup success. Arsenal edged out Liverpool in the final to win the U9 Blue division.

NASA is pleased to announce its Develop to Succeed Program.  This program has been designed in conjunction with leaders in their respective industries to provide a comprehensive and innovative way to develop players and help navigate the college recruiting process. 

NASA showed some great soccer at the Georgia Academy Cup at Lanier. Both U12 boys and girls academy teams competed at the Georgia Academy Cup.  Once again, NASA academy demonstrated that playing in a program that focuses more on development than winning is the right track for young players.

Caroline Waters (G13 Elite II) is the first from NASA's 2013 graduating class to commit to play college soccer.  Caroline has decided to become a University of Georgia Bulldog in the Fall of 2013.  Coach Eric Ritter has this to say, "Waters has worked very hard over the years to make playing in the SEC a reality.  She has stayed focused in the face of adversity and has made strides towards realizing her dreams.  It speaks to the type of person and player that she is.  We are very proud of Caroline and wish her the very best at the next level.

NASA's girls program had two teams (G13 Elite II and G14 Elite) compete in the Las Vegas College Showcase held March 11-13.  Both teams played good soccer and showed well for the numerous college coaches that were on hand to recruit.  Congratulations to both teams on a great weekend.

NASA U9 Siena and Sampdoria teams played each other in the finals of the U9 Silver division of the Cobb Clasic held February 12-13 with Siena coming out the victors.

The NASA ’12 Premier team, coached by Billy Pritz, were runners-up in the U17 Gold Division of the Tampa Bay Sun Bowl, losing 7-6 on PKs (0-0 FT) to FC Sarasota in the final.

The NASA Girls program had two teams qualify for the 2011 Southern Regional Championships which will be held in June. The G'12 Elite II, coached by Dave Smith, and the G'14 Elite, coached by Joe Aaron, have both qualified through their stellar play in the Region III Premier League this fall.  The teams have worked very hard to earn this accomplishment and we are very proud of them.  Good luck in your end of season tournaments and throughout the Spring.
