Boys Select Soccer

For male players wishing to play at a higher level, the United Quest Soccer Club boasts 17 select (boys competitive) teams, as well as the U-10 and U-11 academy programs. The boys select teams are divided into classic, challenge and academy levels. Academy soccer starts at U-10, while classic and challenge levels begin at under 12. The boys go through tryouts in early June. A serious commitment is required to participate in the select program. Each select team is coached by a professional, non-parent coach.

Program Goals

  • Create a non-stress atmosphere where Quest U10 players are exposed to the game with an emphasis on skill development.

  • Create an environment where players are allowed to flourish in a competitive arena in which winning is not a determinant of success, where the instillation of quality is more important than short-term success.
  • Educate the Quest players and parents in the development process and club values.
  • Create the needed flexibility in the program rules in which teaching takes precedence over game administration. The only outcomes measured are learning and fun and not scores and standings.

Program Rules
